What is Veya?
Veya is a place discovery app – part memory bank, part inspiration board. Save and organize the places you love and want to go. Share your recs with friends and discover new places from people who inspire you.
Snap a photo or video on the spot, upload from your camera roll, or import content directly from another social platform to save a place.
Using the App
Sign-In
Sign in with your phone number – we'll send a one-time password (OTP) – or use your Google account.
Saving Places
Add a place by snapping a photo or taking a video in the moment, uploading from your camera roll, or importing content from another social platform. Veya organizes your saves automatically so your collections are easy to browse and share.
Collections
Organize your saved places into collections – by country, city, occasion, activity, or whatever makes sense to you. Collections can be public or kept private.
Discovering Places
Follow friends and people whose taste you value. Their saves and collections show up in your feed, giving you a curated stream of places worth knowing about – from your own neighborhood to your bucket list destination.
Phone Number Privacy
When you sign up, friends can find you via contacts or invite you with a link. Your phone number is never visible on the app.
Deleting Saves
You can remove any saved place or collection at any time through the place's detail view.
Subscriptions and Payments
Veya's core features – saving places, building collections, and discovering through your network – are free.
Accepted creators can monetize collections and sell them to their followers. All payments are handled through Apple. For billing issues, refunds, or payment questions, contact Apple Support directly.
Age Requirement
You must be at least 16 years old to use Veya. If local laws in your region require a higher age for app usage without parental consent, you must meet that requirement.
Connectivity
Veya requires an internet connection to save places, sync your collections, and load your discovery feed. Cellular or Wi-Fi data charges may apply depending on your provider.
Safety
We hope Veya inspires you to get out and explore. You are solely responsible for your safety when visiting any location.
We recommend:
Using good judgment, especially when visiting unfamiliar places
Letting someone you trust know when heading somewhere new or remote
Leaving any situation where you feel unsafe
Veya does not verify the accuracy of user-submitted place information. Always confirm details before visiting.
AI Features
Veya may use AI to assist with features such as place categorization, recommendations, and content organization. Your input may be processed by third-party AI providers to generate these outputs.
AI outputs are for informational purposes only.
Data & Privacy
What we store:
Account information (phone number and/or google log-in, profile)
Places you save and collections you create
Content you upload (photos, videos)
Usage data for app improvement
What we don't do:
Sell your personal data
Share your personal information with third parties for marketing
Use your content beyond providing the Veya service
Your control:
Delete your account anytime through Settings
Make your content public or private at any time

If you encounter inappropriate content, abusive behavior, or technical issues:
Use the in-app report feature on any place, profile, or collection

We reserve the right to remove content and suspend accounts that violate our Terms of Service. We cooperate with law enforcement when required by law.
Feedback
We love hearing from you. If you send us feedback or suggestions, you agree that we can use them to improve Veya – but your saved content and collections always stay yours.
